I am a programmer from Munich.
I love to play against intelligent bots but games rarely feature them. Sometimes they cheat, sometimes they are unrealistically fast or they are easy to win against. But this does not provide a challenge for the player. That is why I focused on Artificial Intelligence in my studies and in our projects.
Besides Artificial Intelligence, I'm also interested in Virtual Reality. I believe that Virtual Reality offers a great number of possibilities for developing cool applications and games which have not been tested yet.
Currently, I'm working as a Junior Software Engineer at Gritworld on graphics engineering tasks and tool development. In December 2017, I successfully finished my studies in Informatics: Games Engineering at the Technische Universität München.
Due to many projects during our studies and various game jams, I gained experience in developing games in Unity3D with the programming language C#. Additionally, I worked on some projects like Firespark which were developed in C++ and OpenGL.
While studying I also worked on approximately 25 projects, which provided me with experience in software design as well as with the ability to work in a team.
Besides my studies, I took the initiative to work as a developer for an association named "Grundbaustein e. V." which gave me the possibility to develop several software modules for them in Java for a small community. Currently, I'm working at the Chair for Information Systems where I develop applications for AR devices like the HoloLens.
